JalenR Posted August 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Does anyone know what cabins are on the mini hump under the whirlpools on the Freedom class ships?
gcvt Posted August 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2012 I think it's 1260 and 1560.
Eng23 Posted August 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2012 I think it's 1260 and 1560. I think you are correct. On Deck 9 it is Cabins 9264 (starboard) and 9564 (port).
JalenR Posted August 6, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Cool. I'm in 8556 and was wondering if it was going to be under it. Thanks!

SherriZ366 Posted August 8, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2012 I think it's 1260 and 1560.Is the balcony plexiglass for these staterooms (Grand Suites) tinted?
bajathree Posted August 8, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 8, 2012 The GS directly under the spa are 1264 and 1564...the glass is tinted...kind of annoying tinted...it will distort colors looking thru it. GS on each side of those cabins will also have 1 section each of that tinted glass. The tinting also effects all the cabins directly below on decks 6,7,8 and 9. seetheworldonaship Posted March 3, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2014 Is there any disadvantage to being under the Deck 11 hot tubs that hang out over the side of the ship? We are in a D2 #9260 on the Independence of the Seas. Wanted to upgrade to a Junior Suite #9258 next door. But not sure if being under the hot tubs will be an issue and we should book elsewhere on the ship. Thanks.

On Allure we were right under, but slightly ahead of that overhanging hot tub and it was a disadvantage as people in the tub could look into your balcony. We had 9258 on Freedom this past August and it is not directly under the hot tub and it does not have tinted glass. The people up in the hot tub can look down into your balcony if they are standing looking out but it really wasn't an issue for us. 9260 is partially under the hot tub and it has the tinted glass. I would not stay in that cabin since the tinted glass makes it difficult to see out and reflects your image back as you are sitting on the balcony. reallyitsmema Posted March 3, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 3, 2014 This sort of gives you the idea of the tinted glass in cabin 9260.
villager70 Posted March 4, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 4, 2014 9562 is in the center of the mini hump under the jaccucisi.
