Help with transportation from port everglades to fll with 10 month old

Looking for ideas on what are the best transportation options to get back to FLL from Port Everglades. We will have our 10 month old with us but no car seat. Going there we are flying in a day early so will have a car rented with car seat but not sure easiest option on way back. Are their taxis with car seats available or shuttle possibly? I appreciate any help in advance.

Taxis do not come supplied with car seats. You can arrange a car pick up that will supply a car seat, or take a shuttle. Florida law requires a child to be in a restraint, but not in a vehicle, such as a bus/shuttle with no seat belts.

The cruiseline shuttle will be a bus...no seatbelts, so no carseat needed. It's 10 mins. away, or less!

 

A car rental will take more time to fill out the paperwork than it will take to drive from one place to the other!

We took our 8 month old just a month ago. Just make sure when booking you tell them infant is with you so they don't try to charge you extra. Not sure if you are aware thenlittle one has to sit on you lap

Call the shuttle companies. We are always able to find one that has carseats for no charge.

BINGO!! We have a winner! This is the responsible thing to do when travelling with a small child. The laws of physics are not suspended just because the journey is less then 10 minutes. Yes it will be more work to find a shuttle with car seats, and yes it might cost more, but isn't that worth the piece of mind knowing that you offered your child every possible safety precaution?

Thanks everyone for the help. I was able to book with South Florida Shuttles for $7 a person and they provide car seats free of charge.
