Texmike Posted August 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2012 There can be a lot of definitions and instances for pre-existing conditions. My wife got a blood clot in her leg about 6 years ago-only 2 days before we were going on a cruise out of Miami on Freedom Of The Seas. Luckily we had cruise insurance and we were re-inbursed. I have Bi-Polar, depression and anxiety. We are both on medications. They would not keep us from going on a cruise as we went once in 2009 and twice in 2010 before we lost our jobs. I wonder if there has been any changes or it has increassed?
megr1125 Posted August 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2012 Not sure what you are asking....have prices changed?? Do you want to know if your issues are still 'pre existing"? You have to check...i am sure prices have changed...and it's based on cost of trip and your age, and where you live.. so check several places...you can start with insuremytrip.com....check cruise line insurance too to compare.. Insurance must be purchased within the specified time frame of the individual policy to cover pre existing..and again, that all varies based on carrier and the individual policy
