We can never underestimate Mother Nature. Thank goodness she is somewhat courteous about advance warning, with hurricanes. But of course it isn't an exact science!

We were very lucky we live in Ft Lauderdale and it was a non event for us just heavy rain and winds from time to time..I am concerned about New Orleans being ready and prepared for Issac and hopefully there is no repeat of Katrina.

We prepared for the worst, but were fortunate. We experienced quite a few power outages, but each time, the power was restored quickly.

Lets hope our friends in the Gulf coast region will be spared major damage. Thanks for the nice comments UKTog.
