What is the most casino cash u have received? Also, anyone cruised on the premier cruise offer that had to be booked in March? Anyone received over 1,000.00? Curious..

I got $1250 twice. I also have had free suite offers that the timing didn't work. On my last Premier I hit for $1600 and $1000 and never touched "my" money and went home up $2500. That was a fun week.

A Premier cruise is what they used to call VIP cruises. They are selected cruises where the casino dept invites people like me that have lost a lot of money in the ship casinos. They give us a discounted cabin and cash back when we get on the ship. Some gifts and goodies. Free tournaments, etc. And free drinks for the length of the cruise.

Its all based on previous play.

I've spent quite a bit on my cruises and when I called they said I would get a standard package. Does anybody know what that is? I'm assuming that doesn't give me any casino cash since he didn't mention that.

I think the Standard package is Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a $15 Photo Coupon. I received that last year on my girlscruise. I don't eat Strawberries but my friends loved them. It was nice to have the photo coupon to get our picture.

We are booked on a B2B this coming October on the Liberty. I finally got around to calling the Carnival Player's Club phone number today; was on hold for maybe 8 minutes or so when a man answered. When I asked him if I was eligible for anything based on my past play in the casino, he matter-of-factly asked me for my past guest number, my booking number and date for the upcoming cruise and then put me on hold again. When he came back on the line, he informed me that I was eligible for $75 and my hubby, $25. He said I could pick it up at the cage. I was so delighted (and well, busy at work;), that I forgot to ask for some kind of written confirmation. Do I need anything to take to the cage?

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Ykgorbie: Congrats on getting something back from the Casino based on past play. I am going on the Glory this October and didn't qualify for anything based on my last cruise. It was a trip to Bermuda on Holland America, a Carnival Corp line, and because the Casino was closed so many days I didn't qualify for a comp this time around. You will need to bring a photo I.D. and your Sail&Sign card with you to the booth.

I really feel like I spend more money in the casino, but hubby is always the one who gets cash offers and the full treatment from the casino host. On our last cruise they were comping him drinks on a regular basis. I've earned the drinks on us card the same number of times that he has.

They always send us a basket of fruit with a bottle of wine, a photo coupon, and some strawberries which we share. So, I'm not complaining ... just trying to figure it all out.

haha Don't try to figure it out.. I got 5000 points on my last cruise, while my daughter got maybe 250 and my sister got around 2300 and BOTH of them got a mailing from Promotions offering them $100 and $75 cash back plus discount on certain cruises while I GOT NOTHING :(

But I did call them and will be getting $50 cash from the casino along with the Preminum Bon Voyage Package (anyone know whats in it??)...

Shanie did tell me that its really just random and no rhyme or reason whatsoever....

P.S. Janey... look for me in the casino 1/13/13 :)

Recently returned from a cruise on the Elation booked with the Casino Special. Once on board went to the Casino cashier cage and received $200 in cash. Played the entire cruise on their money. Of course I ended up giving it all back to the house, but it was fun playing with someone else's money for a change. Also free drinks started showing up on the second night. Lowest S&S card bill I have ever had on a cruise. :D

Like everything else with Carnival, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. :(

I agree, because my name was not on the list, but I had my email with me and they had me wait while the I guess called to confirm it.

waiting4acruise,

I'll be on the Conquest with you in 12 days.

Me and Sister will be with you too Little Jeanne.....G and NoG (as we call waiting4acruise and his wife) are part of the original Crazies group that use to post here all the time....This cruise was originally booked as our official CC group cruise until we lost our leader, but we still have quite a few of the original Crazies that will be together, plus a pretty active roll call.........

DH & I gamble every cruise, but have never signed up for the players club, is there something you need to do to register to show how much gambling you do on each cruise or is it based on how many cruises you have been on??

Same here and would like to know the answer to this.

TIA

I also got the premium package on my Destiny cruise and it was a fruit basket, bottle of wine, cheese & crackers, 2 large bottles of water and a $15 picture coupon.

My husband ate most of the fruit. He said it was delicious.

You automatically are part of the players club when you have your S&S card in the slot machine while you are playing. In addition to accumulating points while you play, for every 1000 points the machine pays you $10. When you get to 1500 points you get the "On Us" drink card so that all your drinks are free while playing in the casino.

Prior to your next cruise if you will call the Players Club they will look at your past play from your previous cruise and give you complementary gifts.

The players club is really a funny thing .We gamble alot ,several cruises I have lost over $10k and they are so cheap with gamblers. This upcoming cruise I have $250 and my wife has $50.

One thing I have noticed is not all casino hosts are created equal!! Some will really treat you good like buying drinks and little things like bottles of wine at dinner and choc covered strawberries in your cabin after a long excursion day.

Our favorite casino host is Tatiana anyone know if she still works for the company?

A couple of quick notes - I just got off the phone with Michael at OPC. He was very nice and clarified some points with the recent Casino Cash deal that my wife and I booked.

Some people based on past play and past sailings (not necessarily those who sail all the time with Carnival) were given offers to book a new cruise at a discounted rate and recieve casino cash - rate code PCP (I think he said ?). Others who did not recieve the offer via mail can call directly and recieve perks such as casino cash, drinks, treats, etc from OCP but it is not attached to their booking rate code. These are extra and increase based on past play and times sailing with Carnival overall. So the bigger gambeler who sails multiple times a year will get the most in this deal.

Our particular deal was via the mail and included 25% off the fun select rate for any sailing and $75 for myself and DW (She reiceved her own offer as well) in Casino Cash.

All other perks are based on which sailing you choose to select. We chose the Imagination 4 Day coming up in October. The Drinks on Us card is only offered to passengers on a 7 day+ sailing and therefore we will not get to take advantage of this. Also, treats delivered to your room and based on length of sailing, past play and current play while on the cruise. Because again we are on a 4 day sailing and we have not cruised with Carnival in over 2 years, the liklihood of them sending us treats to our room on day one is non existent. However if we spend a healthy amount during day one or two, then we might find a surprise on day three. :)

PS: with this all said, I take this as a starting point. Knowing all hosts are different and once you get on the ship you start a relationship with them. I am sure that some people have gotten perks for other reasons then the "rules".

I just called the players club - we booked for4 the Magic in 2 weeks on the players club special and are getting $100 and $125 in casino cash. Dont get me wrong - these are great deals - 25% off the cruise plus money - i shouldnt complain. But......I asked if there were other offers and was told that there are no other offers out there for us. My boyfriend got the "On us" drinks card on tha last cruise and my totals were almost high enough by the time we left - I would think we would have gotten something at this point - even jsut strawberries or wine. Guess I am missing something here. Oh well - I guess beggers cant be choosers.....we did some great things already.

Just to give you guys an idea....to get the drinks on us card you need to get 1500 points. I did a solo cruise and lived in the casino for a week and had 22,000 points and I was the #2 player for the week. Many, many players get 15-20,000 points. They aren't going to give too much to people who play under that level. I usually make it to 15,000 points and am seeing less cash back as my big score is getting further in the past. I also did three cruises one year and that really bumped up my rating. I wish I could afford to cruise three times a year and play at that level every time, but I can't.
And I agree. Meet the host asap. I have made some lasting friendships with hosts and casino execs.

I am with those who call this all a "mystery" as we rec'd an offer in the mail for FREE balcony stateroom for me and DH rec'd a notice for $600 casino cash....and funny thing is that we have not sailed Carnival for over 5 years....so who knows how all of this works! Bottom line is ALWAYS insert your Sail and Sign card into the machines.....TIME played often means much more than money spent/lost....and maybe most important of all - make friends with casino staff?

We are just looking forward to a hassle free "almost free" cruise (we upgraded to suite level) and will as usual spend WAY too much time in the casino! But that is our MO anyway!
