Serenade hairdryers

We're sailing soon on the Serenade and can anyone tell me if the hairdryers are the type on the wall in the bathroom or if they provide a separate hand held dryer that can be used outside of the bathroom??

It is a plug in that you use at the desk/makeup area in the main part of your cabin and if memory serves me correctly it has a unique style plug that can only be used at that location. It is stored in one of the drawers.

We were on the Serenade in Jan and the hairdryers were the separate kind that you could take outside of the bathroom. However you had to hold down a button the whole time to run them!!:( My thumb was killing me after using them. Will take my own dryer from now on.-Claudia

On RCI, the hairdryers are in the vanity...not the bathroom. There are no plugs in the bathroom for anything except an electric shaver.

 

I find it more convenient to bring my own hairdryer, as the ones provided don't blow very hard at all....and that's the whole point of "blow drying"!

The hairdryers on the Serenade are in the bathroom. They are not very powerful, so if you have long, or thick hair it may be better to bring your own. I hope this helps.:)

In August on the Serenade the hair dryer was in a drawer in the vanity unit in the bedroom. Never seen any in the bathroom on Royal ships.
