what should we expect to pay?

What about the public bus? How much time should we allow if we decide to go this route?

we are doing an excursion with Moby Dick, and we will probably ask to be dropped at 7mile, as we have some friends who will be hanging there for the day.

The bus was $2.50 pp...never used a cab, the bus was so easy! The buses will be at all the public access points....just hop on! Traffic can get bad in the afternoon, so allow about 45 mins. to get back to the ship if traffic isn't moving very fast....you can easily see the road from the beach...beaches are fairly narrow!!!

As a side note, you'll need to know which section of the beach your friends are at...it's a pretty long beach...

Taxis, if you decide that's how you want to get back, will be at most sections, and should cost around $4-6 per person. Allow enough time for them to load...they're more like shuttle vans than taxis, and will usually wait until they're full before leaving.
