I thought Regatta had some updating done to the cabins' upholstery and carpeting when last in dry dock. The photos on the website show the same blue loveseat, etc.

They seem to have bought enough of all the fabrics to last several lifetimes.

We find that everything is always in great condition but the same.;)

I think just the headboard & bed side lights were changed

 

The sofas may have been reupholstered but in the same fabric

Here is our room - sorry the only photo taken without me looking rather silly :) It was set up for my cocktail birthday party. This is the Penthouse suite, taken last month on Regatta. You can see the blue headboard etc.

Cruise Lines do a major refurbish in dry dock then supply the ships maintenance staff with a good stock of furnishing carpets and fabrics to allow for the regular replacement of carpets and upholstery, curtains etc whilst at sea . So this aspect of maintenance is done during cruises as part of maintenance staff duties , and it is only the major refurbishments / decor changes that are done in dry dock .

 

In this way most ships always appear that the decor is maintained in a fresh up to date good condition .
