We have never had breakfast in the MDR BUT we will next time around 10/1/12 Carnival Paradise

I have gone down the slides

We always buy drinks

We always bring sodas

We always bring bottled water

We always order a bottle or two of liquor from bon voyage

We always go to the casion

We always enter the slot tournement

We always buy photos

We sometimes go to the art show and jewelry sale

We always go to the comedy show

We always do some kind of triva

We always watch karakoe

We always go to the serinity deck

We always eat in the MDR for formal night

2.0 stuff (not been on a ship with any 2.0 stuff yet)

Quest

Played a table in the casino (only do slots, quarter flinger, string cutter...never done a slots tourney)

Done the ship tour (want to)

Paid to have laundry done (we do use the self service laundry)

All other things have been tried by at least 1 member of my family.

This is for Carnival only for me (have done HAL, and a couple have changed with the different ships):

Hot Tub: Only once a trip (different on HAL)

Pool: Only once a trip - not going all the way in, don't know what's under there (different on HAL)

Room Service: Haven't on Carnival

Speciality Restaurants: No

Paid for speciality coffee/dessert: I actually paid for a dessert once, very good!!!

Breakfast for MDR: No

Soft Serve Ice Cream: Definite YES!!!

Comedy Club: Yes

TV: Yes

Internet: No, could have if it was free

Big Screen: Only once for a Bulls/Heat playoff game, which wasn't originally on the schedule

Went to a talk: Not on Carnival

Fold Towels: No

Took a tour: On ship, no. On land, yes.

Spa: No

Temporary Tattoo: Definite no.

Art Auction/Jewelry Sale: No.

Walk track/jog: Actually did walk on the track while on Alaska trip.

Chef's Table: No

Captain's Reception: Did when it was in the showroom, now it is just pass it by, even though we did get a picture with the captain one time while it was in the atrium.

Shuffleboard: No

Mini Golf: Yes

Down the water slide: I wish I did last time, now I regret not doing it.

Guest Services: Not at Carnival, did have a slight issue on HAL that got resolved.

Shops: Not on Carnival, but did on HAL.

Casino: Yes

Bingo: Yes

Any activity except for trivia games: Did bags a few times

Trivia Games: Yes, actually got a ship-on-a-stick for sports trivia one time.

Pictures: Yes, do have a couple.

Drinks: Not paid, only time was the now-defunct farewell party (those whiskey sours were good).

Soda Card: Must have!!!

Love and Marriage Game Show: No

Afternoon nap: Did a time or two

Lay out on deck: No

Shows: Did a time or two, didn't care for it.

Karaoke: I want to be as far away from it, so no.

Pizza under the stars: Did a time or two

Loved every minute: Yes!!!

Others:

Stayed in the MDR for the servers dancing/singing: Yes.

Warm Melting Chocolate Cake: Always once a trip.

Been on camera for ship's channel: Yes

Enjoyable Posts. Thanks Everyone for playing. Interesting what folks do and don't do and you came up with some great ones I didn't think of! I especially like the two posts above! Wow about having never seen a show in 25 Cruises! Also there are some great tips in this thread as well.

I've never seen a production show in 8 cruises either. Not my thing. I have also never done Chef's table, dance lessons, or any of the "talks". Also never got internet services or even THOUGHT about anything involving exercising. Everything else, I've tried at least once, but some I won't do again. Not so into Bingo, Spa, Salon, and don't care about ice cream. Probably ONE shopping spree and ONE temporary tattoo was enough, though it DID make a really neat-o tan line.

ALWAYS: Laundry service, comedy club, casino, room service. Always watch at least one movie in the room and order RS and just veg for a while, usually get in a nap or two, totally enjoy the hairy chest contest, like the trivia, and even karaoke...I don't sing but it IS very entertaining!

I do want to do the behind the scenes tours at some point in life...and the chef's table. And God knows some dance lessons would do me some good. I'm putting those on my list for future cruises.

Always have breakfast in MDR

Always have a Kiss on the Lips drink

Always play trivia - have won two ships on a stick

Always play bingo

Other people's list give me ideas for future cruises - there's always somethings I want to do that I never get around to. Also makes me realize how different people are in their likes and dislikes. Good thread!

I want to know why with all these people who never use the gym, it's always packed when I go there to work off all the food I've been eating!:)

We NEVER do the art auction

We NEVER play bingo (it's gotten terribly complicated and it's too much like work)

We do most everything else but not every cruise. Although I will be keeping an eye out for yellow water in the pools and hot tubs!

Love the Steakhouse, Chocolate Melting Cake, Slots in the Casino, the Lido deck, room service in the am, coffee and danish on the balcony, days at sea, getting a pedicure or some treatment in the spa, miniature golf, getting the internet package so I can post pics on Facebook and make my friends jealous. etc. etc.

Looking forward to the Movies on deck - our first chance to do this, one of these days I will try the slide, and just having fun. Can't wait until June 2013!

We SELDOM go to the Spa (except to use their showers or sit in the sauna)

We get in the pool...Always (when bringing the kids), Never (when cruising without the kids)

We ALWAYS use the "wash n fold $15 special" on day 3 or 4 (and roll up the dirty clothes tight before putting in the laundry bag)

We ALWAYS purchase the duty-free liquor special on the ship (it's a great deal!)

We ALWAYS play bingo

We ALWAYS order BOTH the lobster and Prime Rib in the MDR on Elegant Night (but can never eat it all)

We AlWAYS order dessert after dinner, at the Warm Chocolate Melting cake at least once

We ALWAYS order a Cappuccino with dessert in the MDR

We USUALLY buy a couple pictures

We USUALLY go into the Casino

We ALWAYS play mini golf and go down the slide, but not at the same time :p For all of you afraid of getting stuck, I'm quite "curvy" and have never had a problem. It's fun...JUST DO IT :)

We ALWAYS get room service (coffee in the morning, breakfast "snack" to keep the kiddos happy while we get ready for the day)

We USUALLY eat breakfast in the MDR (love the eggs benedict and caramel baked banana)

We ALWAYS get soft serve ice cream daily (yep, kiddo influenced, again)

We ALWAYS buy a few Drinks daily

We ALWAYS go to a dance club for a little while

We ALWAYS go to the Love and Marriage Gameshow

We ALWAYS take an afternoon nap

We ALWAYS sit on the balcony in the morning, drinking coffee, while the kids still are sleeping, and watch the sunrise and (on port days) the ship dock.

We ALWAYS allow the kiddos to eat dinner at Camp Carnival, if they want.

We ALWAYS go to the Show, when there is one.

We USUALLY go to some Karaoke

We USUALLY see the sunrise and the sunset.

We ALWAYS bring the allotted 1 bottle of wine per person

We ALWAYS buy the duty-free liquor special (it's actually a great deal!)

We ALWAYS have pizza out under the stars before going to bed or allow the kiddos to have it for breakfast.

WE ALWAYS love every minute and feel that every day is busy and full!

WE ALWAYS let our children play at Camp Carnival as much as they ask, but don't "make" them go. They love it so much, they request to be there daily.
