Venice - Cruise ship to airport - prearranged transport or taxi?

Our last night of our cruise, the ship overnights in Venice and it looks like our flight home will leave Marco Polo at 10:20 AM. As far as I can tell, we'll be one of 3 ships disembarking that day and one of the others will have arrived the day before as well. Would we be okay catching a (land) taxi at around 7am for the airport or should we arrange transportation beforehand? If pre-arranging is better - looking for recommendations on who to book with :)

Using Suntransfers in Venice. Pre arranged and pre paid. 37 euro for the vehicle. Can book online http://www.suntransfers.com. our flight is 11: 35 am and we arranged an 8:45 am pick up. We are overnighting in Venice as well.

I haven't used them. We've always taken the ATVO airport express bus.

The airport is only 20 minutes away; you should be there about 2 1/2 hrs before departure.

We have never had a problem getting a taxi, particularly if you get off early.
