<The greek gentleman who rented us the scooter told us we had to go see the monestary given to them by Peter the Great from Russia 1000 years ago... His wife corrected him and then he said, with his tail between his legs, that maybe it was only 500 years ago, but that we should go anyway.... So we did>

 

Oh so typically Greek! It's a women's society you know. Men are the head but women are the neck :) And as the movie says: "head cannot turn except the neck gives the order" :D

I have a quick quetion. I am trying to choose itineraries. I will definately be doing Italy but am not sure about Greece and Turkey. How do they compare to the Italy ports?

I'm sorry I can't help you there - we have not done a cruise that included Italy... it's on our bucket list.

 

We really enjoyed this itinerary - and would recommend it - lots of history, beautiful islands - beaches (we went in early Sept so sun bathing was included)

 

Hopefully someone else will provide some answer!
