I think I would have to "accidentally" trip over this guy and spill my drink of the day on him! Oh wait-- they are too expensive to waste so maybe a glass of iced water!

Hi: Hope I can help here. The name of the tour is Calypso Tours. We go every time we are in Costa Rica even land trips. Most recent was August this year. You will have to catch a cab to their dock, but you get breakfast and lunch (with wine) included. The island is great as well. Included are snorkeling tour and banana boat rides. A year ago we saw a mother and baby humpback whale and sea turtles being "very friendly" with each other.:D They also pride themselves on being able to accommodate the cruise ships by timing their excursions to the ship's schedule. Also, if you have a group of 6 or more, you might be able to negotiate a "group" rate. Good luck. We love it.

We are through the locks and the cut and heading into Gatun Lake.

There were 47 ships at anchor as we approached the locks.

Passing under the Bridge of the Americas traditionally marks the start of the canal.

I really wish I was there sitting with Jim and Judith and watching the world go by. In my next life...or as my dear Mum used to say...'if I was born rich instead of good-looking'...yup. But to me this is the next best thing. And I have met some great people.
