Carnival Sunshine/Destiny cabin 7264

Can anyone tell me if this is a "good" cabin? Also this is our 2nd cruise and 1st with Carnival (October 2013 - Mediterranean) so could anyone tell me how Carnival compares to Royal Caribbean.

i have sailed carnival/ royal and Princess.

 

I found that there is little difference in the way of food/service on royal and carnival.

 

they both have pros/cons

 

depends too what are you comparing.

 

you cannot compare the voyage class ship with the Destiny. it will be far different.

 

7264 is an inside cabin. extreme darkness 24 hours a day no sofa in the cabin. what you see on carnival web site is what they are gonna look like.

 

I love this deck. between cabin space and away from public areas.

 

if I was sailing I would be booking in the area of 7291 being my first choice.

everything is on the back of the ship-- i go two decks up for food/pools and down two decks for entertainment.

the dining room is even using the same elevator back here-- (except if you have the midship dining room. thats something different
