ronews Posted October 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Have been on Celebrity before andt think I have the dress code down. My wife will be perfect on every night but I have a question about men's shoes. On a regular night (not formal) can I wear dress leather sandals in Blu with a nice pair of pants? Do they have to be closed toed? What about dress code and shoes at the Lawn Club for dinner? Just trying to cut down on the packing to save room for DW 50 pair of shoes she will be taking. yayvacation! Posted October 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Sweet man for thinking about your wife :) I to cannot go on a cruise without 20 pairs of shoes, DH needs to pack his lightly! What you described will be perfect for dinners/lawn club etc. Have a great trip!
Redtravel Posted October 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Having lost luggage on many occasions, I have worn sneakers and boat shoes on formal night. It would not be my choice. I usually dress up. Since then I have noticed many people wearing very casual wear...even flip flops. Wear anything.

Just my opinion, I think that you should consider "driver" type loafers and socks. The loafers are extremely comfortable, per my husband, and look great with slacks. Easy to navigate through the airport as they slip on and off. A real classy look for a man. Women of course wear opened toed shoes- for evening a dress. Again, just an opinion. Enjoy your cruise
