what to do with luggage

You can opt for an excursion and your luggage will be taken to the airport with you. Also a dayroom or a car rental for the day. I also believe they have some sort of storage but am not sure of that. Maybe another poster will know about it. In the past we just rented a car but last month we decided to use NCLs dayroom package. We had transportation to the Marriott and spent the day in Waikiki. We were responsible for our own transportation to the airport but it was nice to have a room to clean up in and get ready for the long flight home. Happy planning!!:)

You can store your luggage directly at the pier just ask someone where to go, its I believe $5 per bag and has to be picked up by 5 pm. There are also a couple companies that will pick up your luggage and transfer it to the airport but don't know any more details than that.

Remember the earliest you can check your baggage at the airport is 4 hours prior to flight.

I would do the dayroom.....having done the rental car option...that was AWFUL! You tend to do "ride around" things...you can't go to the beach or do anything where you may get grungy....no way to shower!! You are basically just "killing time".

Book a hotel, have a pool, and restaurants....and a change of clothes and shower before that dreadful nighttime flight home!

This should be checked thoroughly as we contacted the Marriott and they said they no longer offer day rooms. Maybe they just don't want to do a day room

We booked our day room through NCL. We had NCL transportation to the Marriott and had to provide our own to the airport. We did not book through the Marriott and it was just a month ago. If you are interested just call NCL, it is a bit pricey though. We just wanted to have a day to spend in Waikiki, shop, relax on the beach and shower so it worked out well for us. We did not have a flight out until 10 pm.
