Bunkie103 Posted November 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Tried a search but couldn't find an answer so maybe someone who has done this can help. DH and I are both platinum and we are treating our son and his family to a short cruise over Thanksgiving. I have covered their on-board account with my credit card. When our son printed out his documents they do not say VIP but I have been told they can board with us. Anyone have any experience with this? firefly333 Posted November 3, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2012 If you are paying their onboard expenses with your credit card, then yes they can board with you. They are not VIP so there is no reason their boarding docs would say they were? their cards will be held elsewhere and someone will have to walk over to get them. (the rep who checks you in will go get them) Just tell them that you have it set up to pay with your credit card so they will have to check in with you.
