Cold water

After returning the ship after day at beach etc I hear they have water and towels available but are the waters free

At warm weather ports before entering the ship there will be stations with cold (iced) small towels, and also a station with ice water (distributed in small disposable paper cups). The ice water station frequently also has iced tea and fruit punch.

 

At cold weather ports there will be a station with hot coffee and cocoa, also served in small disposable cups.

 

There is no extra charge.

There will usually be a shaded area with a couple of couches or chairs, and jugs of iced water or lemonade (hot chocolate on cold weather itineraries). It's not bottled water, just iced tap water, and paper cups. Also chilled hand towels, which are very refreshing, are usually handed out. No charge for any of these.

They are free and if you are at a port that is cold they have hot chocolate

When we were in South America last January, it was very cold and wet at one port. They were handing out hot flannels and towels so that we could wrap them around ourselves to warm up as we were coming back on board. That is service :D

There is absolutely nothing better than coming back to the ship after a day's outing and being greeted with ice cold cloths to cool a sweaty and tired brow and a little cup of either ice water or lemonade! It's one of the sweetest and most thoughtful things about sailing Celebrity.

They handed out hot tea in glass cups with silver holders as we reboarded the ship in Victoria on an Alaska cruise. DH had walked my legs off and I was so happy to sit down and drink my tea in the lobby. Sure love the service on X.
