Official policy is 1 bottle of wine per person may be brought on board. Unofficially, you can probably get more wine on with no issue. Hard alcohol/beer is not allowed.

Official Princess policy allows you to bring no alcohol on board except wine and Champagne.

Although given Princess' recent announcement of much more stringent search and confiscation policies, how often that will continue to happen - or posters will continue to boast about it - remains to be seen.

Unless their new policy changes drastically, liquor will continued to be overlooked on embarkation as it has in the past. There's no need to even try & hide/disguise it since the port security doesn't care one way of the other.

I am one who "smuggles" a flask of gin on board for personal consumption. Please don't worry Princess, I only drink this in my cabin and still purchase plenty about the ship!

If Princess would pour decent premium liquor, then some might not be as inclined to smuggle booze on board. I enjoy rum and the rum they have is junk....bacardi, capt morgans etc...i like to enjoy a mixed drink prior to dinner and the logical place to have it is in my cabin....so until they begin to stock better booze then i will continue to be a "rum runner" (smuggler)!!:cool:
