Embarkation Istanbul

Any one who has started a cruise from Istanbul could you please tell me if the process of embarkation was smooth and could you board around midday. Our first night will still be in port. We are hoping to get on early then go ashore to look around. Many thanks for any information. :)

You should be able to board around noon with no problem. If you need to you should be able to drop off your luggage earlier, we have done this as early as 9:00.

Look at the itinerary of the arriving cruise segment. If it arrives earlier than 8:00 you should be able to board around noon. If it doesn't, add about four hours to the arrival time to get your boarding time. ;)
