Late January/Early February???

What can you tell me about the weather during this time? We are sailing on a back-to-back Dream out of Port Canaveral. ty

The weather from PC very nice in Jan/Feb.

PC is NOT tropical. It can be warm, or it can get pretty cold. I live near Disney World and in my time I have seen snow. OK it doesn't really stick, but it is cold. Think of fall or spring. That is what the weather is like. I like it, but some don't.

My late January 2008 Disney cruise had cold/rainy weather as we left Port Canaveral, cool weather in Nassau, temps in the 70s at Castaway Cay, and the warmest day was the sea day. I would not choose January for another Bahamas cruise, but I have gone to the warm Caribbean then.

We were on the Magic in late January early Feb. CC was around 70ish I remember and although we did go in the water, it was a bit cold and didn't spend as much time in it as we have at other times of the year.

but the evenings were chilly - we did not hang out on the deck after dark

The weather is very variable at that time of year. You could hit a warm time, but mostly it is cooler that time of year. As a previous poster stated, NOT tropical weather either in PC or the Bahamas.

We cruised at that time and just brought wet suits. We had Atlantis, the ship's flow riders and pools to ourselves because of the temps. I know that Oasis has wet suit rentals at the back of the ship. Good luck and happy cruising!
