6andy6 Posted November 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2012 Cool. It always amazes me tho ... And this goes for other cities as well.... That they cannot build decent looking and large enough cruise terminals that do credit to the city. Ffs....it's hardly rocket science nor would it be overly expensive. Essential a huge hall ( with maybe some architectural merit), a few toilets, a few offices and space for a cafe and viewing platform. If it cost more than $10-15 mio I would be surprised. Where they often come up with figures like $50mio plus I don't know.

alibabacruisers Posted November 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2012 Thank you for posting the photos. Is this where all ships dock? We will be on QM2 in March next year and were wondering if she can fit at that dock/pier? Is this Jellicoe Wharf, which is where Cunard says they will dock? We did not like the ships excursions so will be trying it on our own at this point. We are looking at the HOP ON HOP OFF....looks like a pick up point is close to the pier. Any suggestions as to what to see? Thanks, Barbara

Buses will be put on to shuttle you from the gangway to Queens Wharf and Shed 10.The HOHO bus leaves from outside Queens Wharf, and the ferry to Devonport is right nextdoor.
