Valen9 Posted November 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2012 I will be taking my first HAL cruise next month on Eurodam. I've been on NCL a few times and Celebrity once. Do you all have any advice about what sites/events you particularly like on the Eurodam? I'd like to know if there are any must-see parts of the ship, or any cool, unique events I should look for in the daily newsletters. Or stuff NOT in the newsletters that I should know, both about the Eurodam and HAL? Thanks in advance for any info you care to post!

The Audio iPod Art Tour is interesting. http://www.hollandamericablog.com/2008/10/10/art-ipod-tour-yields-surprises/ You can download the audio tour via iTunes to your own device or use one of the ships iPods. Search iTunes Store: Art Tour: ms Eurodam for download. It is free. This always nice for a sea day.

PathfinderEss Posted November 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2012 You need to go to the Crows Nest, best view on the ship besides being a relaxing lounge and bar. Great place to watch a sail away.:)

I'll be bringing Android devices with me.
Valen9 Posted November 26, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Be sure to try the Tamarind. Abso-fragging-lutely! My Roll Call is already planning a lunch there, but I've seen such good reviews I knew I had to try it. Do you know if they charge for afternoon tea at Tamarind? Completely free to use one of the ships devices. Also free from iTunes to your Android device...format download should be available.
Krazy Kruizers Posted November 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted November 26, 2012 We like to have cocktails before dinner and liquors after dinner in the Silk Lounge -- great view. Dinner in the Tamarind is much better than lunch. Dinner is $15 per person. Lunch is free and is a set menu. Wonder when they started to have afternoon tea in the Tamarind? Valen9 Posted November 26, 2012 Author #11 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Wonder when they started to have afternoon tea in the Tamarind? Maybe it was just the one day? This review of the Nov 17 sailing mentioned it: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1743910 I'm just excited to try out tea-time done by people who seem to know what they're doing! USS Bounty Posted November 29, 2012 #15 Share Posted November 29, 2012 The shows in the Mainstage are great. Even if you have the late sitting for dinner you have plenty of time to get a great seat for the 10pm show.
