Grandeur of the Seas smell?

I have read that on two different back to back cruises that the ship had trouble with its sewer system! Grandeur of the Sea is now ported out of Colon, Panama. If anyone has been a cruise since 1 December, 2012 would you mind commenting on your cruise experience? We are to sail in April and are a little hesitant! :confused:

as for us, we are scheduled to sail on GR in September and have ZERO plans or reason to consider canceling. for every person that complained about the smell, 2 had the exact opposite experience

The ones that were good were before the redo . . . The ones that were bad were after. :o

incorrect. many people posted about the SAME exact cruise and had zero issues post refurb.

Well put. We are sailing GotS in November and have absolutely no reason to change.

All ships will get that "sewer odor" from time to time....it's not confined to one ship. It's some sort of flaw in the sewage system on ships....why they can't fix it is beyond me. But, just because it happened last week doesn't mean it will happen this week...or it might! No way to tell.
