Tropicalgal2 Posted December 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2012 I have read that on two different back to back cruises that the ship had trouble with its sewer system! Grandeur of the Sea is now ported out of Colon, Panama. If anyone has been a cruise since 1 December, 2012 would you mind commenting on your cruise experience? We are to sail in April and are a little hesitant!
spookwife Posted December 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 9, 2012 do a search.. there are three or four threads about this. as for us, we are scheduled to sail on GR in September and have ZERO plans or reason to consider canceling. for every person that complained about the smell, 2 had the exact opposite experience

cb at sea Posted December 10, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2012 All ships will get that "sewer odor" from time to time....it's not confined to one ship. It's some sort of flaw in the sewage system on ships....why they can't fix it is beyond me. But, just because it happened last week doesn't mean it will happen this week...or it might! No way to tell.
