Super Bowl Venue on the Noordam?

In Feb 2012 we were on the Rotterdam during the Super Bowl and they had it on the big screen out by the aft wading pool along with a really nice tailgating party. We will be on the Noordam for the 2013 game. Just wondering from folks that were on the Noordam this past Feb where they show the game and if they have a tailgating party. I think the game will be on at about 7:30pm ship time as we are leaving Martinique.

No Big Screen TV on the Noordam at the Sea View Pool. However, they will show the Super Bowl in all the bars and in the Queen's Lounge (I believe)...and on the stateroom TV's.

Have a great cruise...we were with you on the Maasdam two years ago!

It can vary a lot ship to ship where and how they show the game.

 

We have been aboard "S" ships when they have brought a big screen tv up to Crows Nest and set it up.

We've seen games shown in Show Lounge.

Noordam has a Sport's Bar but I think it will be shown there as well as perhaps Queen's Lounge right nearby. They have large screens they can set up, when needed, for these events.

 

They will serve tailgate, game day snacks and it's great fun.

Also...... most likely the game will be on cabin tv's but you won't see the ads.

They do not show the ads from the down linked signal.

On Westerdam in 2010 they had a tailgate party in the Show Lounge, and also in the casino bar area. EM

We were on the Noordam a couple of years ago during the Super Bowl.

They had the tailgate party and movie screen set up in the Queen's lounge. You could also see the game on cabin TV's as well as in the Sports Bar.

Hopefully you will have good reception and be able to view the game.
