Anyone do a private tour?

Has anyone done a private tour of Grand Cayman. If so, which company? We are a group of 13, so we need a company that can accommodate all of us in one vehicle.

We are doing a private charter thru Fat Fish Adventures in January. Really excited about it! They seem very willing to accomadate and allow us to decide what we prefer to do. Our group has 7. Great reviews on here and on trip advisor as well.

Make sure if you book with a private company you do not pay in advance. In the winter, at least, one out of three times it is too rough to tender in.

We put 10% down per person ($5.50) but if we can't stop there, they will refund us.

If you decide to do Stingray City, contact Mark with Moby Dick Tours. Have been out with him a number of times and they are just wonderful. Pick you up at the dock and take you on a wonderful adventure.:):)

We are back and our day on the Cayman Party Bus was fun! I enjoyed the Rum Distillery tour (it's RIGHT by the port.) We all decided to skip the brewery tour, but did have a glass of Caybrew each and some in the group bought souvenir shirts. We then had a LONG drive to the east end and stopped at Pirates Cove Bar - it's a local bar and nothing was going on there, BUT we found a tremendous amount of sea glass, large "zebra" shells and conch shells in perfect condition. You could definitely tell that tourists don't go there and scour the beach for shells!

 

After we left there, our driver Bobo (great, by the way,) let us stop at Smith's Cove - BEAUTIFUL small beach - wish we could have stayed there for awhile! Then we stopped by a local jerk shack. We were supposed to get 2 for 1 jerk, but we paid full price. I should've spoken up, but didn't. :o The jerk was delicious, but the flies around there were not very pleasant. Hope this helps you make your decision!

Here's another option... you can end at 7 mile beach, stay there awhile and return back to port on your own... not sure how that would work with a group your size though. This is a tour I plan to do when I visit there soon...
