Howie74 Posted December 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2012 We are flying into Orlando a day early this time. Does anyone have any advice on where to stay close to the cruise terminal? Do any places offer a shuttle to the terminal? Also, can you book a one-way transfer back to the airport after the cruise?
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2012 I would post this on the Florida Departures Board. Happy Holidays. Keith
TicTac#2 Posted December 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2012 I like the Raddison, they also have a free shuttle to the ship. For about $55 you can get a shuttle from the ship to the airport. Enjoy your cruise!
Rare Lionesss Posted December 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2012 When we stayed there in July in a regular room there was a $5 per person transfer to ship. The resort is starting to show its age, but, the reason we stay there is for the pool, we love it. We take a cab 3 adults, 6 pieces of luggage including tip, under $20. Plus we had the cab pick us up at about 10:20ish got to the port, waited in line few minutes to get to security, and thru to checkin, waited 5 min. and we were in the top 10 to get on board!!!!! Safe travels Sue and crew

aria48 Posted December 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted December 24, 2012 The Radisson has the 'cruise & fly' package that include transfers to the airport. It's also one of the closest hotels to the port, but like others have mentioned its showing some age. There's 4 other hotels that are farther out that have a similar package rate....see the map. DanJ Posted December 24, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 24, 2012 I just booked us into the Country Inn & Suites, which is right near the port and advertises they have a cruise shuttle. We have a rental though, so will be using the rental shuttle instead. I was going to book the Radisson because of the pool, but decided since our flight doesn't land until almost 1pm, and we are meeting family at Fishlips at 4 that there really isn't going to be much pool time. Plus the C I & S looks like it has a pretty nice pool too. And the rooms have queen beds, not doubles like the Radisson.
