Where does ship dock in Perth/Freemantle

Sailing on Celebrity Solstice and wondering where ship docks in Perth. Itinerary indicates we dock in Perth but attached map would indicate the cruise ship terminal is in Freemantle at the mouth of the river. I'm hoping it is Freemantle. Can anyone enlighten me?

Danielle, Yes, get around Freo (Fremantle) nice port town, great Maritime Museum, well worth a visit, plus visit the old Gaol (jail.) Great markets as well. You can walk into the town from the cruise ship berth, about 15 minutes flat stroll. If you want to get into Perth City, take the train, about 10 minutes walk from the ship. Takes around 30 minutes into the City.

when you dock in Fremantle they run free buses the Red & Blue Cat

if you walk over the railway bridge at the pier you can catch the Red Cat which takes you into Fremantle and you can ride on the Blue Cat if you wish

It is exactly (according to the "where is") 22.2 kms from Fremantle Port to Perth International Airport. A rough taxi calculation is: $49.00 - and believe it or not - the taxi calculation says: 27 kms to the airport.

When we were there, people were paying around $65 for the taxi fare to the airport. By the way, I have noticed previously that the 'taxi calculator' seems to quote low fares.

 

It is usually cheaper to take the transfers offered by the cruiseline.
