Dining on Grand Princess

We are sending our parents on the GP for their 60th wedding anniversary. It is their first cruise and we have suggested they take personal choice dining.

Their question is, what time does the dining room open for dinner? My father in law is an early diner, and is concerned about his meal schedule.

Also, is there any way to get a copy of the menu? Thanks for any help.

One of the PC dining rooms opened a half hour earlier than the other when we were on the Grand. I think Johnmik has it right--5:30. He can always grab a late afternoon snack at the Horizon Court buffet or eat a slice of pizza by the pool if this isn't early enough. We also enjoy going to tea in the afternoon.

We have a group of 10 going on the Golden Princess. Traditional Late seating is wait listed. We really prefer the traditional dining over personal choice. Can you make a reservation for the same table each night and accomplish the same thing through personal choice dining? Thanks.
