Club royale casino vip

Recommended Posts

I have won some and lost some, but definitely over the long term I have won more than lost because I play smart. With that said, my downfall is usually being up big after 1-2 days then going in that last day only to give back much of my winnings. Next cruise I will stay OUT on the last evening if I am winning substantially. At a bare minimum at this point, if I lose my cage cash I am done so at least I don't lose any of my own $

Please thank your husband from me for subsidizing my cruise fare. :D

My trip on the Allure back in Aug was free (compliment of the River Casino here in Chicago), I had to contact the Royal Royale dept to get the cabin set up. I could pick any cruise I wanted on RCCL but I think I had to pay $300 for upgrade to a balcony room which I was not complaining at all.

They did tell me to check in the casino when I was onboard but since I went with my kids and wife, I did not set foot in the Casino at all except that one time I had to go thru the casino to get to see the ice skate show :D

It seemed to me to hint that casino patrons were losers? Just a comment that I also thought did nothing to answer the OP question.

Casinos are big revenue-generators for the ships. I too am grateful to the people who contribute to the ship's revenues because it keeps the base fare low. (For example, compare RCI base fares to those of Disney ships, which have no casino.) I'm also grateful to the people who patronize the spa and people who buy lots of shore excursions or do lots of shopping aboard the ship, for the same reason. It doesn't mean I have anything negative to say about any of them.

(Though of course, some casino patrons do lose money. If all casino players won more than they lost, casinos would be money-losing propositions for the ship!)

What's the most cash anyone has ever gotten on the next cruise ?

I get $450 next cruise. Last cruise I got $375

A friend of mine got $550 and $600 on his last 2 cruises

That is not a very good payback, what do you think? Is that how royale works, cash towards another cruise? I just became a member thanks from my last cruise so I have no idea how this works. On ncl they give free slot and poker tournaments with probably the same amount of pay for the same gaming amount. Once rcci goes totally to tickets I will be happy. However, last week on brilliance, with coin payouts, I won more money there than from any land based or other cruise line. GIGO figure

I am guessing that you probably earned this from table gaming. So did you give the dealer your card so they can keep track of it?

I called yesterday following my Allure sailing last week. I asked if they had received the record of my play yet from the ship, and they had.

I then asked what they showed for hours played, average bet, and amount lost (yes, lost sadly).

She said all that they can give is the hours played (the figure sounded about right), but that they could not give my average bet or win/loss. Frankly, I think that's ridiculous. I have never played at any casino (at sea or on land) where you were not privy to that information. For all I know they have me down for $50/hand (which would be quite low). I am told I will get $325 on my next cruise... but not knowing what they think I lost or what my average bet was leaves me wondering if I'm getting short changed.

I play roulette exclusively. When I first get there I start with about $300-$350 worth of chips (mostly $25s) and I show them my Seapass card if they don't know me and request them to track my play. After that, each time I still ask, but by then the boss usually knows. They know more than u think- they use facial recognition and everything is tracked on the computer. One time, I never showed my card and the pit boss knew my name, how many minutes, and avg. bet. There WERE a couple times I lost out cause they didn't track me the first day, so make sure you ask. They also keep track of how much chips you get and what you cash out with at the cage.

What they do is based on some computation they figure out time and avg bet with a time weighting factor based on what table u play. They told me roulette has a high weight and 2 hrs on roulette is like 4 hrs on Blackjack. If youre not a member, at the end of the cruise if u qualify the Mgr will approach u and ask u to join and u fill out paperwork. Otherwise, about a week after your cruise you call Club Royale and they will tell you what "rebate" you earned for the next cruise. You can take it as a cruise discount or cash at the casino.

I can't believe someone said $450 is not that good! I think it's good. Considering I came out ahead last time. BTW, it makes NO difference if u win or lose, u still get the amount they compute.

I've gotten a bit more in my cash rebates, generally ranging from $700-900. I had a really, really good run in the casino during my last cruise, though, so I'm getting enough from Club Royale to cover the cost of my next cruise plus a bit of cash in the casino as a rebate.

Blackjack requires more time than roulette, but if your bets are double of what I play, then if they track you from Day 1 u should get more than $325 on the following cruise. Be sure to introduce yourself to the pit bosses and periodically check to make sure they know your action.

My bets avg anywhere from50 to as much as $200...they say min. Avg bet of $25 is needed to even qualify. But the higher the avg bet, the higher your next rebate, or longer time also= higher rebate

I really thought I was going to get around $550-600 based on my friends play (I played longer but he bet double what I bet), but $450 is enough bank for me

Good luck

My last cruise on Celebrity I got $700 with the Blue Chip Club.

My upcoming Royal cruise I'm getting $550 from the Club Royale, (it was a Bermuda cruise and we couldn't gamble for 3 days while in port.)

When I lived 2 hours from Vegas I used to drive out there at least monthly. Here in Dallas I'd have to go to the Indian casinos in OK, or to Shreveport LA, neither of which thrills me. SO most of my gambling now happens on cruises and gambling is my preferred late night entertainment.

Here is my take on it:

1) if you're at the tables the AVERAGE MINIMUM bet is $50/hand for minimum 2 hours/day on Celebrity to be considered. Not sure about RCI.

2) ASK to be tracked. Sometimes they take it upon themselves to just invite you to the club, but it doesn't hurt to draw it to their attention when you're gambling at the tables

3) I find it easier to be comp'd when I play the slots, because as some have suggested, they're not always that vigilant about how much your average bet is and for how long you're playing when at the tables.

4) I've rarely seen the casino host/hostess in the pits so to speak, though they do make the rounds and chat up players. The floor supervisor for the tables is usually the one that tracks you and I assume provides the info to the casino hostess.

I played slots with bets ranging from $2-$8/spin, depending on how well I was doing at that point. I was able to get a lot of time out of my money thanks to a bunch of handpays I got. (The machines were set to lock up at just $500, so it didn't take much, and they were kind of slow to pay.)

I'm in the "club" and they have been pretty good to me. I've been pleased with my rebates and the other offers they send me. I do tend to get carried away and increase my bets to high levels, so that probably explains it!

The invitational cruises are a blast and most ordinary expenses are covered. The club is a HUGE pain in the ### to get a hold of. Calling their phone number will result in a 20-30 minute wait before you get to speak to someone. It can be very frustrating.

I'm sort of roped into their system, but have been thinking about giving NCL a try. They are well known in gambler circles as a players line.

I don't have the required bets to be considered for club royale in front of me, but they are posted. And bighairtexas is right, the pit boss is the one who tracks your play and invites you, not a host.

NCL was "kind" enough to fully comp our sailing later this year on the Breakaway - in an aft corner penthouse no less!

In all fairness to Royal, I did not play at the same level I did when I last sailed NCL.

The casino Mgr. on Monarch told me the Blue Chip Club (Celebrity) was either easier to qualify for than Club Royale or they paid more...

Thanks for your input. Now hearing others, based on my play, maybe I SHOULD have gotten more than $450 rebate coming to me on the Enchantment...but if I do as good as last time, it won't matter. I'll just turn that into a much larger amount on the table :)
