Club royale casino vip

My husband was invited into this program after our last cruise. We have already received a letter detailing onboard cash he will receive when we arrive and drink coupons each day during the cruise. There are supposedly a few other perks, but I guess that's a surprise for when we get on the ship. Is anyone else in this program? Just curious and a bit excited about it.

Actually, it's mostly what you've described. Based on your play during your previous cruise, you can make a payment or take a cash rebate on your next cruise. The casino host will also give you drink coupons (for use in the casino) depending on your level of play during the cruise. Oh, and there's no 3% surcharge for getting money from your SeaPass account.

There really isn't much other recognition of Club Royale members onboard outside the casino, unlike NCL which gives them some other benefits like priority boarding.

Yes. I was invited to join during last cruise. Drink coupons are also available from the Casino Host. They must be used in the Casino. Your level of play will determine future cruise discounts or cash for play. You are also exempt from the 3% fee for taking out cash on your pass card.

Good luck and have fun!

Please thank your husband from me for subsidizing my cruise fare. :D

Hmmm, I wonder how this is gonna pair up with the new MLife affiliation? My hubby and his friends do quit a bit of gambling whenever we cruise so I'm glad to see that RCCL is finally recognizing and rewarding their players. Has anyone heard how to link up the C&A membership with MLife yet? We've got a trip to Vegas and 2 cruises planned so I'd like to make sure that all of our playing gets accounted for. :)

Does one have to play with their sea pass card to get into this club? My husband and I usually play with cash, which keeps us from getting into too much trouble :) , but I'm thinking we played enough on the last few cruises to maybe qualify.

We play with cash also. Just slip your sea pass into the machine you are playing on so it will track your play. We just pop it into each slot machine as we move around. Some days they offer double points on the slot machines in the mornings, so we play a little before our pool time. I'll take the free drinks in the casino anytime, since I am there for awhile anyway. We had such a good cruise fare, we opted to just get the cash when we board ($300, I think). good luck!

Take a look at this thread. Some people have received e-mails detailing their M-life status based on their Crown & Anchor membership level. The status is supposed to be reciprocal, so M-life members should get Crown & Anchor recognition as well (much to the dismay of some who are concerned that the Diamond and Concierge Lounges may be filled with new cruisers who inherited their status from M-life).

There are also several free cruises offered throughout the year based on your play. But you have to be a fairly high level player to qualify for the cruises. Call up the casino department and ask if you qualify - it doesn't hurt and you just might score a free cruise!

They also mentioned that my husband would be invited to play in the slot tournament for no extra charge. He was invited while onboard the last time. He came in 2nd and had never played before. They gave us 2 free excursions at the next port. Also, on the last night we could not use all the drink coupons they gave us, so they allowed us to trade them in for souviner glasses. That was a deal for me. I love those glasses! Shooting for winning a cruise next time, that would be nice!

If you husband played a lot, have him give the Club a call and see if he qualifies for any of the cruises (they put on about 10-15 a year).

Just off the Reflection over New Year's. I was surprised that the fee to purchase chips at the table was FIVE PERCENT. In the past I seem to recall 3% on Celebrity, and it's been 3% on Carnival for years.

Since Celebrity is under the Royal umbrella, has anyone been on RCI the last few weeks - and can you confirm what the current fee is?

Fortunately, since I was on the Reflection (and the Constellation the prior weekend) as part of a Blue Chip Club sailing, all fees were waived and drinks were free.

I was able to contact the Blue Chip Club and confirmed that they'll be able to transfer a few hundred of earned cage cash onto our Allure sailing next month. What a way to return to Royal - with our only previous Royal sailing being on the Sovereign of the Seas!

Have fun on the Allure!

We did - thanks!!

Looking forward to a few more Park Cafe roast beef sandwiches on the Oasis! It will be nice to have more than 3 days (like we did on the Allure) to check this ship out.

Now if they would just go ahead and open up reservations for dining and entertainment ! ! ! :D

I just spoke with Club Royale the other day. If you go to the cashier and charge it to your sea pass the fee is 3%. If you are a qualified member the 3% fee is waived. It is charged to your credit card as a charge, not cash. That is the route I'm going, this way I get the extra points on my credit card with no fees and it saves me a trip to the bank. I believe she said you can take out up to $3,000 per day. You also have the option to set up funds ahead of time. You can call them during regular hours 888-561-2234.

We also have cash waiting for us at the cage from our last cruise and free entry into invitation-only slot tournament. We had a great time on Liberty last time and look forward to another great time in 2 weeks.

So what do you have to do to get invited?

I play nightly for 3 hours or so and play average of $50 hands.

When you get to the casino introduce yourself to the host. The host will explain the details about qualifying to you. I play mostly slots so I just put my sea pass card in the machine and my play is rated. I don't play much blackjack, but I believe for blackjack you will give your sea pass card to the dealer and a host will come by periodically to see how much you are betting and how long you are staying at the tables.

That SHOULD be enough depending on what table you play. I don't think (I could be wrong) that they invite for craps play. Roulette they say has the highest time- weight factor. That's what I play.

When u first get there, tell them to track your play and they will keep track of your time and bets.

You may be surprised how closely they track people.

So far I've only been on 2 cruises as a member and both times they offered me drinks but I didn't get coupons. Please note, if u drink a LOT for free it could come off your cage cash on the next cruise.

During our three evenings in the casino (Allure 3 night cruise) the host not once, as far as I am aware, dropped by the $50 or $100 minimum BJ tables - where I spent at least 2-3 hours/evening. There were several of us playing at that level and I was rather surprised that the host could not find the time to at least drop by periodically and see how everyone was doing. I suppose that they had better things to do...
