Pam in CA Posted January 18, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Princess docks in Brooklyn. The only time Princess docks in Manhattan is if NY is a port on an itinerary. Embarkation/disembarkation is in Brooklyn. I'd get a new TA as they should know this. Sounds like they're either very new or... Hope you're getting a good discount on the fare from them plus OBC and perks.
Rare Essiesmom Posted January 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2013 It depends on when your cruise is. There have been problems in Brooklyn since Hurricane Sandy, damage to the terminal. Don't know if repairs have been completed. All Princess cruises scheduled from Sept. on dock in Brooklyn. CruiseAdict218 Posted January 18, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Also, I believe Princess will dock in Manhattan if the Queen Mary 2 is at Red Hook on the same day.
sueandkent Posted January 18, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hopefully for you it's in Brooklyn, you'll get a much better price on a hotel than in Manhattan, especially if it's Sept or Oct.
