sammygeorge Posted February 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2013 New to Oceania (have sailed Celebrity and Regent a number of times). My husband and I are booking Regatta to Alaska this summer. I was looking at a stateroom on the back of the ship (6090 - between the Owner's suites) because they look like they have extended balconies. (I was in Alaska on the Celebrity Summit several years ago and we had such a cabin/balcony and it was delightful.) Is anyone familiar with these cabins?? I'm debating between 6090 and a Penthouse Suite - does anyone have any thoughts which way we should go? Thanks!!
Rare LHT28 Posted February 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2013 The PH cabins are slightly larger so if you want more space choose a PH + you get a butler The AFT cabins do have a longer balcony but the cabin are the same size as others in that category It is a personal choice really I do not think you can go wrong with either Enjoy
orchestrapal Posted February 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Any cabin on the back would always be our choice. We once again are looking at an OS for a b-b and would love to welcome you as our neighbors. You'll love the views of the wake and the world. :)
nparmelee Posted February 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2013 We've been one deck higher in the same cabin, yes, the verandas are deeper and we loved it! We like the bigger veranda so much that we booked a B4 on the Riviera even though its not at the aft.
