Some Advice for First-Time Cruisers

My wife and I have been on 9 cruises (not a whole lot, but enough to have some experience) and, as a blogger, my wife blogged about helpful information for first-time cruisers. It's a very good read. See her link here:

Thanks for the great tips! I finally convinced my husband to take a cruise to celebrate his 50th birthday, my daughter's 18th birthday and graduation and our 20th anniversary. Tips like this will help me move past the logistics and get to the celebration a lot quicker.

Nice tips. However, it should be pointed out that a lot of the tips are solely based on cruising on Carnival. For example, a couple of the things mentioned would not fly on other cruise lines (laundry, soda, etc).
