Rare colesc15 Posted February 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2013 I was just checking to see what was still available for my upcoming Allure cruise on March 3rd and according to RCCL's website, there isn't a single suite left on the cruise. That seems odd that every one is sold out already. Anyone else agree?
BDL Posted February 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2013 I don't think its that unusual.. my March 10th cruise went to completely sold out in the last couple of days.
kingsgirl Posted February 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2013 My March 11 cruise only has one suite left.
amybear912 Posted February 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2013 I am sailing on Freedom on 2/17... For the past few weeks, various categories have gone from sold out to available every day... Sometimes even showing sold out in the AM but then available again a few hours later... My theory, and I could be wrong, is that they "close" categories while they are assigning guarantees... In other words, I don't think those suites are necessarily sold out... Check tomorrow...
leaveitallbehind Posted February 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2013 There are a relatively small number of suites (in particular GS and above) compared to none suites on any given RCI ship. They are very popular and can sell out rather quickly in our experience.
SeaPeaInn Posted February 8, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2013 We use GS and try to book 9 months or more ahead. Booked in January for November and got the last one on Grandeur.
PCWalton1 Posted February 8, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2013 My Allure May 26 cruise has one loft, one owner and a handful of GS left so I guess judging by that not having any left in March is not unusual. :)
George C Posted February 8, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2013 I wanted to book RCCL for a cruise last November and all the suites for the dates we wanted were sold out a few months before the sailing, Went to Sandals instead

Called RCI to book an Aqua Suite, took some doing, don't know why it is so difficult, on hold, not available, let me check with resolutions, but, after about an hour, finally got what I wanted. RCI Cruisers 004 Posted February 8, 2013 #11 Share Posted February 8, 2013 Prior to our last Freedom cruise, I checked on Friday and there were 15 GS left. When we boarded on Sunday I stopped in to book one, and there were only 2 left. I grabbed one just to have it and just prior to the cruise one with a better location opened up and I was able to switch. Learned my lesson, if the room is available, we book as soon as possible ! Luckily our group has two side by side GS's that we booked in May 2012. I was suprised at how fast they booked up. Also, the JS is now more expensive than we paid for the GS.
