65stang Posted July 21, 2017 #2305 Share Posted July 21, 2017 The drink of the day is covered right? Sent from my iPhone using Forums The drink is covered yes. If it is in a collectable cup the cup is not covered you will pay extra for that. You can order the drink of the day in a regular cup too on the days that it comes in the cup. Umbrae Noctem Posted July 21, 2017 #2306 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Is the faq outdated? I'ver read on other threads that specialty coffee, rockstar, and waters are included. Wasn't just alcoholic drinks.

bigdawg86 Posted July 21, 2017 #2309 Share Posted July 21, 2017 My wife and I are sailing on the liberty in a month. My wife is 4 months pregnant and I am wanting to get us both the cheers package, she doesn't drink a lot but will have an occasional glass of wine but she would order all the other beverages that are included other than alcohol to make it worth the cost. My question is will they let her order alcohol knowing that she is pregnant? and yes they know she is pregnant since we had to fill out the form with her OB. Thank you for your responses! Yes, Carnival is not the authority as to whether or not your four month pregnant wife wishes to enjoy a glass of vino. She can consume whatever she would like if she has the Cheers program. Non alcoholic drinks include soda, juice, espresso based hot and iced coffees, energy drinks, still and fizzy bottled water, honest tea iced tea and milkshakes. If you're sailing on the Vista or Sunshine, you can even go to the shake spot and get a spiked milkshake from their adult menu. MasterMason Posted July 22, 2017 #2311 Share Posted July 22, 2017 The cheers package runs 6am to 6am. So it would end on debarkation day at 6. Although I don't think anything is open past 2. The coffee shop doesn't open til 7 I think. (Bummer) Not true. I found out on our last cruise, last December that the Cheers Program is available on debarkation day first thing in the morning. As we awaited self debark, we had specialty coffee in the morning and energy drink, and then hung out by the casino bar and drank up before we left the ship for our flight home! A glass of wine is not un-healthy. Next time keep your useless opinion to your self.

firemanbobswife Posted August 2, 2017 #2319 Share Posted August 2, 2017 But would you purchase Cheers just for a glass of wine? Maybe not, but if they like the other things that are included that don't contain alcohol, it could still be worth it. Especially if the spouse is a drinker. He could get his money's worth and more while she may enjoy some specialty coffees, milkshakes, water, sodas, etc.

Here is a quote.. I wont post the name of the person but it was not a glass of wine a day Totally agree, there's a lot of misinformation out there about smoking and drinking during pregnancy. My life partner's brother and dad are both docs and her own GP/OBGYN had no problem with her smoking or drinking during pregnancy because quitting would be even more stressful for her an the baby. She cut down her smoking significantly just because she said she doesn't feel like it as much during pregnancy because she already feel unhealthy for being fat. She didn't consume more than one beverage per hour because the problem actually being DRUNK while pregnant, not having a few drinks over an afternoon or evening. Most people in the 50s didn't binge drink like people do today.

WindDancer Posted August 3, 2017 #2324 Share Posted August 3, 2017 I have never had the Cheers drink package on carnival, but have sailed them quite a few times, I know that if you BUY the hurricane souvenir cups, you can get it refilled at a discount (used to be 3$ cheaper) So, I am wondering if I BUY the hurricane cup, can I then have it refilled with the drink package, it is still under the cost of price limit of the dinks, and I would not be getting the "souvenir drink glass" since I already bought it.. I know someone will say why?? and, its because the plastic cups are flimsy, and drinks melt way to fast..
