DallasGuy75219 Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2013 No, on the Spirit last year it was the same menu in the MDR as any other 7-day.
Sargent_Schultz Posted March 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2013 On our Alaska cruise (Carnival Spirit, 2010), it was mostly the standard 7 day menus, but there was also a special Alaska fish dish every night not listed on the menu, but listed in the Fun Times or ask your server. One night there was also a Crab Legs Appetizer which isn't on the standard 7 day menus. FYI, the pizzeria offered a smoked salmon pizza which isn't available on other cruises. Things may have changed, but that's how it was for us.

Yeah they changed...your food looked better than what we had last year May 2012 we did NOT have the special fish dish every night we did NOT have salmon pizza (I do remember your pictures but it was gone) and we never had crab legs it was the same food as usual... I suggest eating in the ports if you want alaskan seafood JMO
pe4all Posted March 19, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2013 We did the Alaska cruise last summer, (August) and I agree with sharecruises. We had no special menus at all. Maybe because they were getting ready to move the Spirit to Australia???
RVman Posted March 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I’m not sure about the ship but for general knowledge , we went on the Whale watching and Salmon bake excursion in Juneau, both were terrific and the Salmon was grilled outside and was all you could eat. It was the best grilled Salmon I’ve ever had
