Where to go for lunch?

We'll be in STT on April 3 and were wondering where to grab lunch. I was hoping for somewhere serving good local cuisine. What's everybody's favorite spots?

Do NOT go to emerald beach best western for lunch . I went there last week when I was on the Carnival Valor and got food POISONING!!! I was in bed for three days sicker than a dog. It ruined the majority of my vacation. The year before I went to the Green House. very good and nice view

Gladys' place is really good , they also make their own hot sauces , just ask a taxi to take you there ,, not far from port

Cuzzins and Greenhouse are both in town as well

You can google these for menus and check their reviews on tripadvisor as well, all are good and offer different experiences

The Green House offers limited local food like conch fritters. Gladys' in Royal Dame Mall and Cuzzins on Back Street are more authentic.

 

Jen's Caribbean Grill near Emancipation Garden in town is another good option.

Thanks for the responses! I had done some research and was thinking about Gladys' or Cuzzin's so it's good to know that they're liked by those on CC too.

We asked our taxi driver where the local's eat last year and went to Sogo's restaurant. It was fantastic! The owner was pleasant and the food scrumptous. As I recall the price was very reasonable.

I'm obsessed with Cuzzin's...I literally plan my cruises around going to St. Thomas JUST so I can eat lunch there.

Cuzzins!!! Our Jeweler takes us there when we are in St Thomas, great food and drinks. Service is awesome as well!!
