scf18 Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 We'll be in STT on April 3 and were wondering where to grab lunch. I was hoping for somewhere serving good local cuisine. What's everybody's favorite spots?
Carol999 Posted March 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Do NOT go to emerald beach best western for lunch . I went there last week when I was on the Carnival Valor and got food POISONING!!! I was in bed for three days sicker than a dog. It ruined the majority of my vacation. The year before I went to the Green House. very good and nice view
StrangeBrew Posted March 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Gladys' place is really good , they also make their own hot sauces , just ask a taxi to take you there ,, not far from port
blue_water Posted March 21, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Cuzzins and Greenhouse are both in town as well You can google these for menus and check their reviews on tripadvisor as well, all are good and offer different experiences
Ms411 Posted March 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2013 The Green House offers limited local food like conch fritters. Gladys' in Royal Dame Mall and Cuzzins on Back Street are more authentic. Jen's Caribbean Grill near Emancipation Garden in town is another good option.
scf18 Posted March 24, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Thanks for the responses! I had done some research and was thinking about Gladys' or Cuzzin's so it's good to know that they're liked by those on CC too.

VibraTech Posted April 30, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 30, 2013 We asked our taxi driver where the local's eat last year and went to Sogo's restaurant. It was fantastic! The owner was pleasant and the food scrumptous. As I recall the price was very reasonable.
