What is customary to tip your waiter?

We were there in January and we tipped our waiter $40

 

Enjoyed our time there so much that we are going back in September.

We tip both the waiter and bartenders (I usually spend some quality time at the swim-up bar :o) a total of about 20%

 

I always tip at the end of the day - some others choose to give some or all of the tip up front. Your call.

I tipped approx 5% at the very beginning and the rest at the end of the day. We will never know if it makes any difference but I do know we got excellent service all day long.

I go to Nachi every time I'm in Cozumel and we tip our waiter $20.

 

Last time we were there, my husband and I ordered 2 entrees each, with no problem and tipped the cook $20.

 

The grilled shrimp and grilled grouper is so good!
