70's street parade was this evening and boy was it packed. We were shoulder-to-shoulder, yet everyone was having a great time, nevertheless. Most of the songs i was unfamiliar with, since i was not alive in the 70's, but there was dancing so i enjoyed myself.

I did see throughout the week guest carrying around their own wine to events.

Ending the evening off with Chops, and I recommend the Creme of Brulee. I think the picture explains it all. We did see a man come in wearing shorts and a shirt and the restaurant mgr asked him to go change into pants and jacket. If only they would do this in the dinning room on formal night...

This evening was the quest game show in studio B. For those who are unfamiliar with the quest, it's an adult game show. The host places you into teams, then each team has 2 captains (1 male/1 female). Then the host calls for items & the team captains must hurry to search for the items such as: cruise compass, woman in men's shoes, most bras, ect. (First team receives 5 points and so on). I was selected as our male team captain and of course we finished first place with the smallest team! You do want to miss this show, as everyone was dying laughing the whole hour.

Here is a short video of the Pre-Game Dance by RCCL staff: Harlem Shake

Day 7: sea day
Today was our final sea day so I wanted to make sure I got up early for a good pool chair. Well I headed up at 7:30am and yup you guessed it all the chairs on the main pool deck already had towels/bags on them. I could not believe so many people get up early and reserve chairs and the pool staff did nothing to prevent it. But it turned out to be a cloudy-cold day so all the scheduled pool events moved to the promenade.
If you are seeking a relaxing event on the final sea day, I'd recommend the captains corner. The captain gives a little speech about the ship then turns into a Q&A section.
-One interesting fact, the Navigator has the 3rd largest dinning room in the world seating 1055 guest.
Oh my goodness, your section was crazy! Loved it. We were in the conservative section 3.
I hear there are some pretty good photo's floating around, but I have not been able to get my hands on any!

Best part of the game.
Host: "I need a Man's Pair of pants"
My female partner: "Take your pants off!!!"
Me: "I CANT!"
My Female partner: "What?! Take 'em off!"
Me: "No, you don't understand I CANNOT take them off!"

TEAM 8!!!

I'll finish the review tomorrow with my review of the Alcohol Package.
Between my group we tried every drink you could think of. I also took pictures of most menus, so you can see what's included.

I'll leave everyone with a video tour of my stateroom.
I would hope you didn't behave, you're on vacation! :) Looking forward to hear more about your experience with the drink package. I'll be encountering it this Saturday, I can't wait, know I'll surely be drinking things I'd never normally order.
I like how you think!
I will post my thoughts on the package tomorrow. I have some mixed feelings about the package.
Accessible Inside Cabin. I had no idea they were so large, look how many people we have in a INSIDE cabin!
The key is 5 days before cruise sails, if they have any open you can switch for now extra charge (that is if you are booked in an Inside room)
Are the accessible cabins just for 2 people? or are their pulman beds / sofa's for a 3rd person?
Tonight was formal night/captains reception. Which is always my favorite night on the cruise.
Right at 7pm the free champagne came out and the music started.
Great review :) Really enjoying it !

Do they offer free champange at the start of both of the formal nights?
Never cruised with RCI before and i didnt know they did this. Wasnt expecting any free booze at all. :D

Don't get too excited (unless you really love cheap sparkling wine). The Captain's Welcome Aboard reception is only on the first formal night. There are other events where the free bubbly is served, such as art auctions and some other events for Crown & Anchor return guests, suite guests and such. Some people have been know to go to the art auction events just for the free "champagne."

Really enjoying the review, thank you so much for the info and pictures, can't wait to read the rest!!!! Really enjoyed the pictures of the owner's suite as my wife and I will be cruising in an owners suite next year on IOS. Very excited, but thank you for the pictures, i am sure the rooms are similar in look.

I can confirm that mpoole3 most certainly did NOT behave himself! His brother has video proof on his camera, but I'm guessing that it won't be posted publicly! :D

The inside/accessible that was featured did NOT have the ability to hold a third or fourth. I don't know if there are any accessibles with Pullman beds available, but the option of a fold-out loveseat for a third occupant wouldn't work because then the room would no longer be accessible (when folded out, the bed would take up the room that would otherwise be used by a wheelchair).

The bathroom is also HUGE in an accessible -- the shower is a roll-in style with no lip to step over, and there is a pull-down bench on one wall. Water does not run out all over the bathroom floor, though -- the drainage system in place prevents that. The shower is in a corner of the bathroom, and there is a curtain that pulls around two other sides making a square shower stall. The shower curtain does NOT move in and stick to you while you're showering, either. ;)

And yes, Section 8 for The Quest was AMAZING (if I do say so myself!)! One of my funniest memories of that night: The emcee asked for a SeaPass card from someone named "Mike" and mpoole3 looks up into our section of the audience, waiting for someone to hold one up. I screamed at him, "IT'S YOU!!!! USE YOUR CARD!!!" and then he had that "lightbulb" moment. :p

We definitely would not have won the whole shebang without the quick action of our male and female captains/spokespeople... having a few "firsts" that earned us five points a pop really boosted our score significantly! (Anyone else think it's a coincidence that "Section 8" is also the term used in M*A*S*H for getting a looney-bin discharge from the Army?)

Alcohol Package:
My thoughts on the alcohol package are based on my personal views. Different people would use the package different ways, ect.

Do I feel I was able to get my money's worth? Yes, indeed. But I honestly don't know if ill purchase the package again. If I do I'll be sure to pace myself day 1-3. You feel that need to get your moneys worth, so much so you find yourself dehydrated all the time.

Pros:
-trying new drinks was fun. (Tried every martini without any problem)
-pre-paid for so you know exactly what you are going to spend.
-always had plenty of wine with dinner, in fact the bar waiter would come fill our glass each evening without even asking.
-went to the dungeon each evening until 2-4am dancing and ordering drinks/shots for my friends and they could care less. (But I did tip my bartender $10 cash each night)

Cons:
-still had to sign receipts for $0.00, unless of course you handed them $1 bill when you ordered your drink then there was nothing to sign. I asked why we still have to sign a receipt and the bartender stated, "in case you want to leave an extra tip"
-I find you overindulge yourself with booze.
-My final sea day I did not drink any thing, as my body could not handle any more. (well 1 glass of wine at dinner)
-I missed breakfast almost every morning, due to being out so late.

PS. ITS MY BIRTHDAY! :D

I was sitting by the pool by myself and the waiter bought me a bucket of two stella's without even asking for it.

Everything (except those with a *) are included in BOTH packages. I really enjoyed trying all kinds of new beers at the pub each night before dinner.

I still plan on posting a few random pictures of the ship/Food Porn.

Pulling into NOLA at 5am was quite a pretty site, but it hit me that the cruise was over...

Hahaha, I recognise the bartender in post #73. We met him when he was our bartender in the Diamond event on Mariner a couple of years ago and he's a friend on Facebook. He just put a status on there today to say he was somewhere in the Atlantic (en route on the transatlantic) :) We'll be looking out for him onboard in June :D
