5HappyCampers Posted April 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Anyone recommend a shuttle bus/taxi company that we can use? I really don't want to pay for the $$ transfers via cruise ship! We are a family of 5, will we fit in a taxi with all of us and our bags? Flying into Seattle
Ohana Travel Posted April 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2013 i booked through flatrateforhire dot com. from seatac to pier only $35 for a car. with 4 of us, i asked for a van and it was only $10 more. i liked that i could just book them for a specific time and price. seems to be a great deal. haven't used them before, so...???? CruiserBruce Posted April 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Seattle is covered on the West Coast Departures board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=413 A little reading there will reveal taxis and private sedans are almost the same cost. Seattle has not left Washington state for Alaska. At least not recently.
mapleleaves Posted April 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Yellow Cab and Stila Towncar have the contract with SeaTac so they always have vehicles parked in the garage and ready to go. Both will cost about $45- $50; phone numbers are in this link to verify prices. A benefit to the towncar is that you call them from baggage claim when you're ready, and they'll pick you up at the curb. Flatrateforhire is fine too. http://www.portseattle.org/Sea-Tac/Parking-and-Transportation/Ground-Transportation/Pages/Taxis-and-Limos.aspx
