STEPHEN LARKIN Posted April 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Sorry to be picky but can anyone tell me if they sell crisps on-board Azura ? If so are they English 'Walkers' crisps , Pringles or another brand. Please dont tell me they only serve that horrible 'Bird Mix' P.S. I do like a crisp with my pint. Thanks

STEPHEN LARKIN Posted April 18, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Yeah, Pints are sorted. Where I come from is the home of the Potatoe Crisp - Ireland, or more to the point Northern Ireland. We produce the best Crisps in the world at Tayto Castle in Tandragee. The best Crisps in the world are Tayto Cheese and Onion they are widely know in Northern Ireland as 'The taste of Home' and are bought by the box by ex-pats living in Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada and the like. Now you know I'm a bit of a Crisp Fan can anyone please tell me which brand of crisps are on sale aboard Azura ? Thankyou

Roxally Posted April 19, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 19, 2013 In the bar where they show sport and do quizzes ( next to casino) on Azura and Ventura they sell Walkers crisps. The bags are slightly larger than the 25 g ones we get as part of a multipack in the UK. Saw Cheese and Onion and Plain on sale. Hope this helps

alvin moondust Posted April 20, 2013 #16 Share Posted April 20, 2013 You may see 'LAYS' crisps for sale, these are the European brand name for Walkers and are made to very similar standard and flavour If you could all eat lots of LAYS/Walkers and Quaker oats, and also drink plenty of Pepsi that will all help the Pepsi share price and do my pension no harm at all.:) The only downside to working there is when you see one million packs of crisps every 24hours you get a bit sick of them LOL
bolton belle Posted April 21, 2013 #17 Share Posted April 21, 2013 My husband is from Northern Ireland and we live in Cumbria. His mum used to send him over boxes of tayto cheese and onion crisps and he had to ration himself. He got very tetchy when he was nearing the end of the box  However, we now have a shop locally that sells them and he is a happy bunny. Phew! :D
NSWP Posted April 22, 2013 #18 Share Posted April 22, 2013 Us Aussies prefer Smiths Crisps, but we call them 'Chips' in the Colony, because we are a little different. LOL.
