Shuttle from Port Liberty to Newark Airport

We will be arriving at Port Liberty on the Explorer of the Seas on September 29th. Does anyone have information on shuttles from the ship to the airport? I have been trying to get information on-line but so much of it is very confusing! I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks!

I booked transfers (ship to airport, airport to ship) through the cruise line. My documents say the shuttle is operated by Yellow Express.

Shuttles to the airport are $16/pp. When you come out of customs, you make a left and go to the end of the tent to the dispatcher. He will put you on a shared shuttle to the airport that will drop you at your terminal. No need to book the more expensive cruise line shuttle. This is big business in Bayonne and they want to make as many trips as they can.

AFAIK the service is not offered from the airport, unless you book through Royal..

 

you CAN call Independent Driver (name of company...LOTS of CCers use them, and i saw numerous vans last week...) at 888-816-0973 ext 0, about 4-6 weeks ahead....should be AROUND 10 PP each way.......
