Captain's Club

We recently returned after our first Celebrity Cruise, the Transatlantic on the Reflection. It was wonderful.

We kept passing a sign for an office (?) for the Captain's Club on Deck 5, but it was always locked when we thought about looking into it. What goes on there?

I do realize that the Captain's Club is also the name of Celebrity's loyalty program which we have now joined.

Presuming this is the same as the other S class ships: There is an office for the Captain's club host/hostess on board who coordinates events for the Captain's Club loyalty program and is often around to assist Captain's Club members. This person also runs the future cruises booking office at that same spot which is open at certain hours.

It could be you just happened by during hours they were not open and/or when the host was out running Captain's Club activities.

On Reflection the location of the Captain's Club office and future sales desk(s) are separated by about 7 decks, 5 vs 12...

Eclipse Capt Club Office and Future Sales share the same space. Sometimes it is hard to find the Office open.

True for Solstice, EQ and SI as well but the OP was referring to Reflection where future cruise sales were moved to the 12th floor and the entire 5th floor office now belongs to Captain's Club.

Interesting. Is there something different they do there on the Reflection?

It is strange. The location is wide open similar to the library. I personally don't like discussing information in front of others sitting on nearby sofas. Other ships provide more privacy. I was amazed at the space available for the CC host on Reflection and commented that great things must be ahead for the program.

On Eclipse, up until now, the "Destinations" area contained two rooms: the Captain's Club desk in the front office, the Future Booking Office was in the back office. But they are bringing on additional booking agents, and Bruce (current Captain's Club host) will be moving to a location to be determined and the entire area will be devoted to Future Cruise Sales. So, each ship has to handle the situation a little differently.
