Asking opinions as to whether crocs will do the job Di Depends on the job you want them for, for just being waterproof, then fine. For better grip when creeking/canyoning etc then not.:D
rugbypopsie Posted May 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Crocs are better for dry walking....very very slippery when wet. Reef shoes are much better for water..try to get the ones able to expand at heel...others are hard to get on/off wet feet. Sue
Hstergo Posted May 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I have the crocs with the non slip soles and they work fine
Sandielle Posted May 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I love my slide Crocs too much - would be afraid they might get damaged on coral or rocks so use reef shoes to walk in water.
tillydog Posted May 13, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I take both my Crocs and my swim shoes on cruises. I do find my swim shoes are better for the pool areas as they have good grip. But my Crocs are great for wearing all the time (except of course on formal nights, tho am looking at a pair of their dressier shoes for our next cruise)

Mum81 Posted May 13, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2013 We used reef shoes (I know, they don't look good on anyone) and my sister used crocs. She was complaining that they kept getting sand and sharp bits of shell in them.
