Ketchikan... prebook tours/shows?

Do you recommend pre booking (not cruise line excursions) with the company or do it when you arrive in Ketchikan?

 

I have booked our Skagway tour & Juneau whale watching however some of our group wants to sea kayak 2.5 hr excursion, some want a taxi tour & a few want to see the Lumberjack show. Gee ...:eek: I happy to do it on line but it maybe easier if the group could just sign up at the dock.

For you that have been there, are we better to pre-book/buy tickets before we go? Would the sea kayaking or Lumberjack show be sold out ?

I would pre-book because the best tours companies get sold out.

If you end up on a day that some tours are canceled due to weather, the lumberjack show will be packed and sold out -- best to book ahead.
