Pre-cruise hotel in Fort Lauderdale

I am not big on the Hyatt Pier 66. Restaurants are not right there other than its own restaurants and to me they have milked the property.

I would stay at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa instead.

A ride to the ship is very easy via a taxi and doesn't cost much.

We stayed at the Ritz a few years ago, but not related to a cruise and definitely enjoyed it. Service was very good at the pool and restaurants and not only were we able to get a very early check in but also an upgraded room. Your mileage may vary.

Pre or post cruise we usually stay at the Hyatt. As a top level Hyatt member they always have gone the extra mile for me and we like the Pier 66 restaurant & Happy Hour .

Earlier this year we stayed at The Pillars a small and lovely boutique property just across from the Ritz. It has a deck directly on the intercostal do you can arrive by water taxi! There is also a great restaurant calked the Secret Garden. We loved it despite appalling weather which meant we could not take advantage of the pretty though small outdoor areas.
