I remember a great smoothie and fresh squeezed OJ bar as you enter Window's Cafe, but I can't remember, is there a charge for either of these? I wasn't sure with the change in beverage plans if anything changed. Thanks!

There never was a charge for freshly squeezed OJ or Smoothies in Window's Cafe and there still isn't.

 

They are really good. :)

It was free and delicious the last time we sailed with Azamara in 2011.

That fresh OJ in the morning is a favorite of my DH, and I love a nice healthy smoothie freshly blended to order. Yum. There was no charge when we were there, glad to hear that hasn't changed.

Excellent news! We never tried the smoothies last time, but we have begun enjoying them at home and look forward to having the "professionals" make them for us each morning.

Really enjoy the complimentary smoothies. The Smoothies Bar is open from 7.30am-10am.

You really must try the 'Energizer' as well, a real pick me up at breakfast time in Windows served in a shot glass. Be warned though, you must like ginger!

 

We first experienced it on Quest, then persuaded the restaurant manager to introduce it onto the Journey on our last cruise, an acquired taste but very enjoyable.

Sounds like this might be a good remedy for anyone with quezy stomachs as Ginger helps settle the stomach. Might come in handy crossing the North Sea if we should experience any rough weather. Thanks!

July will be my third trip. Haven't had a smoothie yet, but yes, they are available and no charge. The bar is just before the omelet station. Now what is this about a ginger energizer? I love ginger. Ginger Ice Cream is one of the better ones. (Alas, we did it once, and it was a bit warm for ice cream. In fact it was like baked Alaska, without the baking or the Alaska, and definitely hot) See ya in a couple of weeks.

The energizer was introduced to the Journey on the Indonesia Cruise you were on in January Dr H, hopefully it will still be there when you board in July and when we board in August
