Forms of ID Required to get back on teh Ship

When we disembark the ship in the Cozumel what form(s) of ID do I need to bring to get back on? I'd like to keep out PPs on the ship and just bring DL's. Can we get back on with DL's? Will a Military dependent ID card work to get back on? My son is only 15 and has no DL.

I usually need just a Drivers License and my Carnival Sign & Sail card. Kids without IDs usually just get on with the parents but I would think the military ID would work as long as it had his picture.

In 13 visits to Cozumel we were asked for a photo ID once. All other times just ship card..

Done Punta Langosta pier once and Puerta Maya the other 3 times.

 

Never got asked for ID once in Cozumel.

 

Just Sign and Sail card. (ship's card)

 

Been to Nassau 7 or so times and been asked for ID, each and EVERY time.

Every time we have reboarded in Cozumel, we have needed only ship's ID to board the ship but needed government issued photo ID as well as ship's ID to enter secured port/dock area.

 

Ship's ID and drivers license.

The reason I asked is some cruise lines want the ID not the port.

What if you want to get your passport stamped? Where can you get that done in Cozumel?
